The second thing that webmasters overlook is having something unique. This gives the user a reason to not hit the back button and move onto the next site. If they see an article, game, or something that intrigues them they are going to stay at your site for a little while. How Google PageRank is Calculated

Google Pagerank is not something that can be figured out with a simple equation. It is very complex and debated endlessly how to get the sought after PR 10. Just showing the Pagerank calculations would confuse most people that are not math majors. History of the Google PageRank Algorithm

Google PageRank was developed at Standford University by Larry Page, and Sergery Brin. This was part of a research project for these two individuals. The project was started in 1995 and then was led to a functional prototype. In 1998, Google was founded.
