List of Social Bookmarking Sites

Social Bookmarking is a way to share any website with other people on the Internet.  Social bookmarking sites use tagging, voting, or a combination of both to determine what the most popular links are. These links get front page exposure for their catagory and recieve thousands of traffic AND backlinks. This is the reason to submit to them you get a boost in the search engine rankings, more traffic, and backlinks from the people that enjoy your site.I decided to create a list of social bookmarking sites ranking the most popular ones to help everyone like me that could not find a concrete list to use. Derek-Baker.com is now a “Do-Follow” Blog

Well I finally decided to join the masses of bloggers that offer “link juice” by making a my blog a do follow blog. Hopefully I will recieve more quality comments because of this. I also added the Akismet Spam Plugin. Akismet checks your comments against the Akismet web service to see if they look like spam or not. This plugin comes with Wordpress and I had thousands of unapproved spam comments but since using it there has been ZERO spam!

History of Follow Tag
Back when Wordpress was first created they made the script built in for Google to notice the “no follow” tag, telling them it was bad to follow that link.  This tag has stayed with Wordpress and requires a plugin to remove it. By removing the “no follow” tag from the comments it will encourage others to leave comments on your blog because they will benefit from it.

Top Commentators
I am sure you have seen this before on many blogs. It is the Top Commentators Plugin. The people will the most comments will be show on sitewide on the sidebar.

Example Scenario 
An example of this plugin would be if someone that owned a Business Directory made a post about Incorporating a Business.  Their link would show up in both the top commentators and the post they were commenting on.

Focus on Search Engine Rankings and Backlinks - Google Loves Them!

After reading the webmaster forums for a few years now I have noticed a common thread: webmasters care more about earnings than rankings. They spam social bookmarking sites and do crazy things to make a few dollars. They overlook the single best way to make money online dominating the SEARCH ENGINE RANKINGS! This is how I have been able to pull consistent traffic from this blog without even updating it often. Take the time to research keywords and use accurate descriptions and keyword rich unique titles. The tool that I like best is the Google Adwords: Keyword Tool. It allows you to figure out approximately what you will get paid per click for the keywords you are targeting. It also shows the amount of competition for the keyword and times it has been searched for the previous month. This can save time because all the most searched keywords are laied out in front of you and used correctly it will more money. Check out this tool it is a definite winner.

The second thing that webmasters overlook is having something unique. This gives the user a reason to not hit the back button and move onto the next site. If they see an article, game, or something that intrigues them they are going to stay at your site for a little while. If they have a pleasent experience there is a good chance they will tell a friend, classmate, family member, or whoever they come in contact with about the site as well. They could also be a “super visitor” and give you a backlink at their own blog, share it on facebook, or whatever site they visit. Having unique content will never be a bad thing, that is for sure!

Make Money Online With Zango Pay Per Install

Before reading this post I suggest you check out my Zango Review.

Since I started using Zango Cash I have learned tons of tricks and methods to make the most money with their pay per install gateway while at the same time keeping my loyal visitors happy. Over the next few weeks I am going to make a series that will cover Zango Tips and hopefully persuade those that have not joined Zango to sign up and give it a try on their website. I have helped about forty clients in the past make money with pay per install programs and amatuer money makers were still able to make my system work. In my first part of this series I am going to cover the first question most people have: What site to use with Zangocash? I am also going to give an introduction about the pros and cons of the Zangocash Gateway. This is where everyone makes their money so it is important.

What sites work best with Zango Cash?

The best site to use with Zango would be a funny videos site that has a ton of organic traffic. Zango allows you to protect your content, in this case the videos, while at the same time keeping the site running at a profit.  In a nutshell any website that has access to premium content will make a ton of money with the Zango Gateway. There are two types of gateways that Zango uses right now, Pop over gateway (POG) and the regular gateway (forced). Here is a breakdown of the advantages and disadvantages for each.

Pop over Gateway (POG)
Advantages:
-Easy to install (no custom features)
-Users do not have to install to view the content
-As the name suggests this type of gateway pops up on the users screen
-Works well with organic traffic
Disadvantages
-Not as many install it
-Bad for returning visitors
-Can not put it over the content

Regular Gateway (FORCED)
Advantages:
-Protects the sites content
-Has higher install rate
-Looks better
Disadvantages:
-Users cant view content without installing Zango
-Visitors that cant install will leave
-Takes longer to install (requires custom logo and choosing options)
-Loads slow on some browers

Getting back on track here is a list of all the sites that work best with Zangocash. For the most part anything in the entertainment niche will do just fine.  If you do not have any sites like these I suggest buying one that is established from one of the webmaster forums.
