Article Directory List
As I promised a few days ago I was going to start making some quality lists that people could use as a resource and spread about the net. Here is my first one featuring the best article directories in order by popularity. I also took the time to include a brief description of the site and a direct link to submit. Write your own quality content before submitting, they do not like duplicate articles. Make sure the articles are in the correct category. Some of the most popular topics are health, nutrition, business, and news articles. I suggest writing about one of these if you have interest in that topic.

Most of the times internet marketers try to submit there articles on each and every article directory on the web. I feel this is the most inefficient type of SEO. Just sticking with the list above will do a whole lot good with their return on time invested submitting articles.

Let me add to the discussion by saying that Article Dashboard (as of April 2009) asked for your personal phone number and mailing address as a requirement in its new account application process.
I’m not sure how or why my personal mailing address and phone number needs to be disclosed to an e-publishing site. We’ll never be communication via phone or snail-mail. Perhaps they make addition revenue from selling the information to third parties? I don’t know, I’m asking.
That has been my biggest turn-off so far in dealing with any of the entities on the above list.
I’m sure others will find the request odd as well so I thought I would pass it along.
