Natural Traffic Comes Fast With Quality Content!
With all of the original posts that I have made so far it would only make sense that the search engines would reward me for it with great rankings! Google has already picked up my Best Free Blog Templates post and I have been receiving some natural traffic each day. Keep in mind I never submitted this to Digg or anywhere like that. The one that I did submit to Digg has not gotten any natural traffic yet. Here are the reasons I think Google liked that one in particular:
- It had a simple title that was straight to the point.
- I had about a paragraph (100-150 words) of quality content before showing each theme.
- The description had each keyword from the title in it.
- It did not look forced and reads like a post should!
- It had some outgoing links to other quality related sites (the ones that have the theme)
The screenshot below shows one of the search engine rankings. Already on the second page in the top 25!
Snapshot of the natural traffic, it started coming within 72 hours after I created the post!

I agree with you there, I just read that between 600-900 words is enough to rank high in an SEO Ebook. Seems around the right range.

Did you speak too soon? I do not see you on the first 5 pages of google for ‘best free wordpress themes’ – or is google doing its dance?

That was not in the top 5, it was on the second page, I was hoping to move into the top 5 though.

It’s been well documented quality rules over quantity especially over the long term but you’ve expressed the point so well-kudos!!

I used that plugin but didn’t bring the expected results.
I am using optimal title and Google Sitemap Generator and getting much better results :)
